Will be the only SLP in the facility. Will consider a new grad with strong clinical skills in dysphagia management. Must be comfortable with dementia residents as well.

The facility in South Central Virginia is a leading LTC center providing multi-faceted services including skilled, rehab and assisted living. In addition to over 50-Part B programs, our Alzheimer’s and dementia programs have been designed and implemented by nationally recognized experts the transitional care model to provide the full continuum of care.

The facility has a very family oriented atmosphere and family feel which extends to the pro-therapy nursing and administration staff. As an SLP you will work with both the SNF and ALF residents to provide the continuum of care for residents that are unable to return to independent living.

This position is best suited for an experienced SLP. Certificate of Clinical Competence is required.
