As a Speech Language Pathologist at RMI, you will provide:
  • Awareness and response to various stimuli, environments, and daily tasks.
  • Comprehension of verbal, non-verbal, and written language, symbols, gestures, and/or communication contexts.
  • Ability to express needs, thoughts, feelings, emotions, and opinions through verbal and/or non-verbal methods.
  • Problem solving, orientation, memory, attention, planning, and organization.
  • Specialized equipment such as augmentative devices, speaking valves, and/or auditory/visual aids.
  • Oral and pharyngeal muscle strength, activity tolerance, tone, and coordination.
  • Swallow maneuvers and techniques.
  • Clinical competencies required.
