Kari Brizendine, PT, CWS, CADDCT,CDP

Kari K. Brizendine, a graduate of MCV and a physical therapist by profession, serves as RMI’s Clinical Resource Specialist. She is a Certified Wound Specialist through the American Board of Wound Management and a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Instructor through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. 

She serves RMI therapists as a clinical resource and is instrumental in program development, employee orientation and clinical skills development. Kari is available for teaching events for our therapists, patients, caregivers and families. She is a co-author of the book My Past Is Now My Future A Practical Guide to Dementia Possible Care .

Lanny D. Butler, MS, OTR/L, CPAM, CDP

One of the nation's leading dementia experts, Lanny received his Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota, and his advanced degree from the University of Puget Sound, in Tacoma, Washington. He has worked as an educator, consultant, and therapist for over 38 years: the past 25 years have been dedicated to serving the elderly.

Lanny has researched and developed a practical approach to caring for individuals with dementia called Dementia Possible Care©.

In 2015 Lanny completed all requirements to be certified to utilize Physical Agents and Modalities.

He is credentialed thru the Physical Agent Modalities Practitioner Credentialing Agency LLC.

He is the founder, and President of IATB Dementia Care LLC. a consulting group on Dementia Possible Care©.
